Deleting your CarGurus Account

If you would like to delete your CarGurus account please follow the steps below based on your account type. This allows us to ensure that the request is coming from the correct party.

Dealerships:

Please email cancellations@cargurus.com so that our dealer support team can assist you further with canceling your account. 

All other users:

My Privacy Rights

Note that once the process has begun, your account details and preferences will not be retrievable; the process is irreversible. For example, if you have a pending credit application and/or Instant Max Cash Offer, it will be terminated. After we receive your confirmation, we will email you to confirm when the deletion has been completed. Please note this can take up to 30 days.
