Refunds For Private Listings

Customarily, CarGurus will not provide refunds for the private listing service. Common denial reasons for a refund include but are not limited to:

  • Disagreements about deal rating
  • A listing is created in error
  • Too few leads or views
  • Vehicle history discrepancies 
    • AutoCheck Vehicle History reports are provided for informational purposes only from an unaffiliated third-party vehicle report provider, and CarGurus is not responsible for any incorrect information or mistakes
  • A listing is taken down for one of our Private Listing Removal Reasons
  • Temporary technical issues
  • A user is disabled for content or behavior deemed to be inappropriate by CarGurus
